there is no definitive version of p3 and likely will never be. there are rumors of a bigger remake but uhh those rumors also say femc won't make the cut which, having her content portrayed with as much detail as the ps2 version would've been the primary reason to buy one

In the game the lethal joke mechs are called no. 86's, and when you beat Faulkner piloting one he says "no more 86ing for me!" Lara released a hour long Xenogears music on piano collection today. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sxYHrDCsfpQ I helped her work on it a bit. Always loved Xenogears music since the game came out. It helped make it my all time favorite game that only got replaced by Nier

How much grinding am I going to have to do to beat Octopath Traveler 1's true final boss? From what I read, it is a significant difficulty spike and you have to fight a gauntlet of 8 bosses before fighting him and there's no save point at any point. It seems...not worth it, and yet I can't seem to find a good cheat engine table to help me just brute force it to see the ending (I realize Youtube exists).

Depends on how leveled your entire team is, since you have to use all 8 characters. I always level everyone equally (it had been a while since that particular brand of gamer brain came in handy) so I had to do zero grinding. I think most people itt will siggest skipping it but imo it was a pretty fun challenge to cap off the game. Tho if you are expecting any story or resolution after the battle you are going to be sorely disappointed

Ys VIII is fantastic yes. Ys X looks great too. I just hope it's better than IX but I think conceptually Ys X is more fitting for Ys than IX ever was.
