I used to play AFK Arena and it did feel like that was more generous with giving out their Jade equivalent, but that was a much more pull focused game.

I'm glad you guys are happy with the 100 jade (which based no Genshin, if they give you 3x codes for 100 jades in the normal stream then the extra 100 will let you do a 2nd pull) but imo you should always always always complain about compensation from these poo poo companies because it costs them literally $0 to give more compensation rewards.

Honestly I get the feeling that there's some weird overreaction going on here, like maybe somewhere else people are freaking out about the delay and the people here are reacting to that by shutting down any criticism whatsoever? Like, as far as I can tell no one gives a poo poo about the broadcast delay here. We don't need to come in to defend the honor of Mihoyo by appealing to a natural disaster, when waiting an extra day for news that we already got from the CN stream means literally nothing to any of us.

I did some googling for the news "japan + earthquake" and you guys are making it sound so much worse than it is. It was a 6.2 ("weak 5" in the Japanese system) in the ocean that produced 0 damage, 0 injuries, and 0 knockoff effects like tsunamis. In other words it was a day that ended in -y.

I assume they saw a sizable dropoff after people finished story content during a patch with only one  event and want to pull people back in ASAP to show them what normal post-release patches will be like, but if ticket giveaways become a regular thing I won't complain.

keep in mind genshin had a main story update in 1.1 but then no updates in 1.2 and 1.3, and then one in 1.4, none in 1.5, then one in 1.6. ofc genshin has much more exploration stuff to fill time but i dont think the idea of a patch without any main story stuff should be out of the blue.

I saw someone I think on Reddit talking about using a support character to clear a domain and I wanted to check it out and holy poo poo this is awesome. I just found a lvl 80 of the new character to use and he just zapped everything in 10 seconds. I thought it was gonna be like a “ok you used a support now go back to using your own characters” thing but you can keep using supports for domains. I know some people are worried about raising their world levels and whatnot but it seems like it just doesn’t matter at all when you can just use a whale’s unit to solo everything for you.

dudes right 100 gems is loving pathetic and pretending its not is laughable. there's plenty of games that will give way more for incidents that are way less. you don't have to protect the innocent billion dollar company from this post they're never going to read. in fact there's a very extensive satisfaction survey up in game right now, go in there + tell the company directly how you feel about this issue and stop making GBS threads up the thread about it
