Today I was explaining On Cinema to a 68 year old lady and why I find it funny. I was telling her about how Tim met Ayaka and that their son was named Tom Cruise and I found myself laughing so hard. It was such a strange thing talking aloud about it all. She didn't get it. Her favourite comedy show is Big Bang Theory.

Finally watching the VFA Tour experience, and I'm learning so much about the Blondie series. Incidentally, the Wikipedia entries for the series and several of the movies read like something Gregg might have written:quote:Daughter Cookie was played by three different child actresses, beginning in 1942 with her first appearance (as an infant) in Blondie's Blessed Event, the eleventh entry in the series. Doing a rewatch and lmao I forgot that after building up a motorcycle accident at the start of season 5 what ends up happening is Tim parks in a handicap spot and tries to physically assault an old woman who complains about it and then the bike just falls over and injures him. Also he's legally blind in his left eye, gonna need LaRue to investigate this angle to release him from culpability re: the attempted suicide #fakenews. Clearly a combination of poor van maintenance and limited sight. And yeah hearing Tim rant about Putin and the Ukraine in the 2nd Oscar special is a lot of fun

Also lol at Gregg stalking Joe Estevez and just cornering him while he chews on snacks. Joe's come a long way from that first interview talking about souplantation to eating shredded cheese out of a bowl while Tim has a full emotional breakdown

i realize ive not seen all of decker, oh my lord how does this show exist. what a blessing gregg at a movie theater buying a ticket to see sully 2: "one ticket to sully 2. I saw the original the day it was released" 'dr reaper' i would swear this was a dr fauci parody if this wasn't made in 2017 just wild trying to imagine people watching this show without knowledge of on cinema. dr san showing up to bring decker back to live with the vape pen, holllly lol was just rewatching the trial, which is literally a work of art btw, and realized i never saw the decker clips they were referencing somehow. what a treat
