Nice, thanks for sharing that! I'm gonna check it out when I get home from work. I think it's a bummer that the only times we get 'Pendulum' here in Toronto it's just a DJ set by El Hornet. Don't get me wrong he's a great DJ, but it rubs me the wrong way that he plays under the band name (although it's definitely fair because putting 'El Hornet' on a bill isn't going to draw nearly as many people). Do Rob and/or Gareth do that in other places?

Did anyone else go see the ODESZA movie in theaters last night? It ruled. Their live show looks like it takes a ton of work to pull off, but the final product looks absolutely incredible. Some of the behind the scenes stuff didn't offer much insight, but I didn't even care because the music was so good. My theater was packed, too.

Potions was good, dropped Supertask, Of The Trees, and Lab Group 2 ids. KC though, man. I don't know what these kids do at night, but the scene is so bad that Potions went on at 11 and Player Dave closed the night out because everybody just goes home at like midnight regardless of if the headliner's played yet or not. Shlump headlined a few months back and the place was half empty twenty minutes into his set. I had a smoke with the promoter and he's like "yeah we're just putting top bill on at 11 now, they were getting pissed at playing empty rooms." Bad scene, it's no wonder nobody plays here. Just got home from seeing The Glitch Mob live for I think the 6th time at a real small and intimate club. Holy poo poo. They scaled back their stage setup from years ago by a lot, but the energy they brought wasn't scaled back one bit. Total sensory overload.
