A year or so ago I was at a restaurant and there was a video I've never seen on a TV but I remember the song, however I don't remember the name of it or the band. It was the most late 90s/early 2000s video ever, just the band performing in a gross warehouse and the singer had long black wavy hair. Everything was brown/yellow. The only thing of note was, and maybe I'm even misremembering, was the bassist was an Asian chick. The music was kinda grunge/hardrock I think.

This is more of a lost media post, but it just popped into my head yesterday.

Sadly I lost the link itself, but at some point I had it bookmarked, and it was just a directory listing on a server somewhere that I'm pretty sure I got from here. It was Happy Cat - there was the "famous" picture, the "I am not good at computers" meme, various other memes using that picture...but also many, many other pictures of happy cat, in different poses and situations. Many I'd never seen anywhere else.

I had it bookmarked and I'd occasionally just go and look at the pictures of happy cat, until one day the directory was just gone from the server. Does anyone else remember this? Anyone save some of the pictures?

Feel like there may lots of things that could meet the criteria, but it immediately made me think of this

STILL TRYING HARD
This isn't much of a mystery because I'm pretty sure I know where it's from but I'm just not in the mood to listen to whole album to find it.

I've had a song stuck in my head for months now that I'm pretty sure is a "right tune, wrong lyrics" kind of deal. It goes:

This is the powerload
I've got control
I'm not
Giving-it-up this time

I'm 90% sure it's a song from Badmotorfinger but I just can't put it to the right song.

Edit: I got into the mood and it was Outshined, the second song on the album. The actual lyrics were:

Show me the power child, I'd like to say
That I'm down on my knees today

It was very similar in style, but it wasn't this.

Here's another thing that popped into my head: I remember seeing a video or .gif that looked just like your typical early 2000s bad quality cam girl poo poo. In the video the girl opens her shirt and moves the camera down to her tits, but they're really saggy and it gets to the point where she has to follow them comically down to the floor, across the furniture and they snake all over the room until she gets to the end and they're attached to her (there is no end/nipple). The thing is this is so specific and mostly everything you search gets you porn. I have no clue how to google this.

There's these two classical music piano pieces that I'm trying to identify. It feels like this should be an easy thing to find, like from one of the well-known composers, but I'm not sure how to search.

I made some beepbox transcribings to help. They're to the best of my memory, so please excuse if they're a little shoddy:

No. 1

No. 2

Edit: Never mind, I managed to find them! Bach, Prelude in C Major, BWV 939, and Prelude in C Minor, BWV 934, respectively.

I'm strong. And a giant penguin. Please don't eat me. No, really. Don't try.
as a kid in the 90s riding the bus to school the pop station would play this parody of Snow's "Informer" that was about being a farmer. The chorus hook part was "i'm a farmer, get up at 4 in the morning and use my hands to milk the moo moo cow." Googling provides a lyric site that says something about A Farmer (The Return of John Brown) but as far as I can tell that site is actually somebody posting some parody lyrics they wrote themselves and it's definitely not the actual extant audio that was playing on the morning radio.

Okay, I feel like this one is almost impossible to get, but does anyone have a camrip of The Replacements starring Keanu Reeves? Specifically, the bar romance scene where he kisses his love interest?

I saw this in theatres and Keanu Reeves has this amazingly goofy 30 sec head bob moment where he's approaching his love interest bobbing his head like a goober.

As far as I know it's been entirely scrubbed from any digital/vhs copy out of shame.

If anyone on this forum saw The Replacements in theatre can you at least tell me I didnt make it up wholecloth?

I did see it in the theater and do not remember this. I do remember talking to my wife afterwards trying to figure out why so many SAG members went along with that celebration of scabs. Maybe it started as less so but drat.

No way used DVDs are expensive, maybe look for one with deleted scenes?

Hey, look. Look, if- if you screw me on this, I shall become more powerful than you can possibly imagine, you rat bastard!
If that's not the headbob bit, there's another possibility: A TV edit of the movie might have used an alternate take for time issues or content issues. Wouldn't be the first time that a TV edit had alternate or extra content that never found its way onto official physical/digital releases through the years, or took years to finally become available.

The Replacements seem like that right blend of time and place that a long-gone TV edit could have both come out with extra footage and not popular enough to warrant throwing together a lot of b-roll scene stuff onto physical media.

No, that's definitely the edited/reshot version. I definitely remember it as this insane 30 second take that went on forever with him doing the Keanu head tic that he used to do back in the 90s. It was so memorable my friend and I were howling with laughter, and I actually rented the DVD when it came out to show some other friends this scene only to be let down when it wasn't there.

Like, in this scene the head tic version looks absurd but makes more sense than the edited version. Instead of just walking back to kiss her it's a "Will he or won't he" moment and with every spasm of his head he walks forward a step more towards he will.

I really wish this movie was less mediocre so that more people would've seen this. Then again, it might've ended his career because I think when he saw the theatre cut he stopped doing the head tic altogether. He even does this once or twice in the Matrix. I think it's Bill and Ted or Johnny Mnemonic where I noticed this mannerism the most.
