I celebrated the reaching CL 3k by treating myself to the season pass, so now i have nebula and with kitty i thought I'd try and bring sexy Kazaar back. It's really fun and i haven't run into anyone else at this CL/rank doing an actual kazaar deck, but it also lives or dies on titania/maw being in my hand. The not so pleasant part is that i did get it so i could get the pinned knull i had because this meta is a hard numbers check. If your deck isn't meta to a degree not even tech cards are helping, you can't enchantress or cosmo those effects. Feels a lot harsher than when i was starting out against old zabu/old shuri, mostly because it feels like your only strong choices are roulette/scam decks like hela casino, wong gambit, galactus spider knull. Feels like lots of decks are just dead in the water. Haven't seen any move decks cause they come up lacking in a lane and are too predictable in which lane it is usually. Cerebro got meta nerfed to uselessness other than c2, and that's more a side effect of cage becoming a meta tech counter. It really is just high evo and the enchantress/cosmo/rogue/skrull counter roulette. Don't really understand how high evos effect is powerful AND you don't need to play the card to activate it. Why would Patriot then, for 1 less mana for a completely weaker effect, need to be played

Hey folks, just reinstalled after half a year, and have a question: Was Kitty Pryde a freebie card at some point? I have no idea how I have one, as it's apparently tier 5. Other than that, game's fun now that I'm so far behind the meta that I'm not chasing. Captain Marvel is still my favourite card.

Kitty Pride was so broken when she released that they took her down within the day iirc. Then they said it would take a month or so to fix. Then maybe two months. Anyway sometime last month they decided eh screw it, we botched that hard, everyone who didn't have Kitty gets Kitty, and also, everyone who bought her gets like 9000 tokens or so in compensationishouldhaveboughther

My initial thought was something like Korg, Zabu, Darkhawk, Mystique, Dino/Gamora, Living Tribunal but even that doesn't seem that good. After that was some sort of lockdown deck, especially with Storm/Prof X. Make it difficult to fill up a lane or two because they're unplayable...but those cards are so weak it dilutes that LT part of the combo. Just theorycrafting, not that I own the card.

If I called the shots I’d try making tribunal a 4/6, maybe even like a 1/-5 or something. If you take your big turn off to play a 6/6 you’re gonna have a hard time getting out points, and as an ongoing card letting him come down before turn 6 makes him vulnerable to enchantress or rogue

Got the game earlier this month after some friends talked it up and it's been pretty awesome so far. Toughest part is understanding just what the cards and locations will *actually* do. Case in point today, I was able to get Leech onto the left and right locations and his power worked to stop Forge but Scarlet Witch still went ahead and did her thing on the location there. Am I missing something obvious?

Yeah so Leech hit at the beginning of the turn before the draw, so the drawn card doesn't get the effect.

That deck was just a who-cares deck built out of my least-used cards so I can get some cheap collection levels. Funnily enough its win/loss record seems as good or better as decks I build with actual forethought and strategy! Guess there's something to be said for unpredictability because half the time even I don't know what I'm going to draw since I swap in new cards into it a lot.
