Just keep the page in the tiniest bit of motion (unless I'm the only one this works for). It's annoying, sure, but less so than having to click through to Twitter.

I have an old phone where I have to keep scrolling to watch twitter vids and a cheap Lenovo tablet I bought 6 months ago where I don't. Maybe it's effected by the version of Android that's installed.

Goons who have the Twitter problem that you have to constantly scroll to have video - it was discussed in the Awful App thread and someone in there had a fix by loving with WebView versions or something. Fixed it for me.
