I hate the poe tree but the point made was just that apparently nothing changes post-30, and a mini poe tree seems significant enough even if it's just the D3 paragon+jewel system in new clothes. I mean you can be reductive and just say it's more "number go up" but the amount of post-campaign content at launch is pretty solid. I'm enjoying all the stuff that opened up at wt1 and am looking forward to nightmare dungeons and helltides in wt3 soon!

Druid companion build whips rear end but you have to get into the 20s to get enough skill points for it to really take off. Once you have all the pets and their passive 30% buff with landslide maxed out you are unstoppable.

The act 2 and 4 bosses own. I don't even remember anything about the act 1 and 3 bosses but the other two were spectacular boss fights for Diablo games.

Are there any rogue builds that use both the bow and melee weapons? I see there are passives and paragon nodes to support mixing marksman and cutthroat skills, but I feel that kind of thing usually doesn’t work out in arpgs.

Your character automatically swaps to the relevant weapon when you use an ability, with no cooldown or delay, so if an arpg is going to make that style viable, this is the one.

I'm enjoying Druid but I feel like their boon system is really underbaked. You get enough spirit offerings to max all of them out by the time you hit like level 20 or 25 or w/e and the benefits are pretty boring. Kind of a shame.

If youre looking for more ways to improve your character, make sure youre doing all of the renown rewards. You get some very nice rewards for clearing out all side quests and activities on the world map.

You need to be careful not to pick equipment upgrades just because they offer bigger numbers. Losing an aspect can hurt your damage output a lot.

The Cathedral of Light / Capstone Dungeon is bugged. Boss summons some adds, despawns, and never comes back. May be limited to OR more likely to occur with Necros that have minions out. Anyone seen this bug at the beginning of the last act? I'm at the Southern entrance of Caldeum with the whole crew, but there's a big fuckin door in the way and I can't get inside. I'm having a good time with my shadow Necro build (decompose + blight + decrepify + minions). Bone magic was really good too but I've done the bone spear thing multiple times in D2 and wanted to mix it up. I'm really loving this game overall. It has smooth gameplay and good QoL stuff, but has the very grim and demonic vibe and aesthetic of Diablo 1.
