lol they probably wouldn't be permitted to do that anymore because current homeowners are entitled to ever rising prices and will sue.

governments also don't like GDP to go down, recessions, and in places with property tax, starving themselves of income

Isn't there already a problem for boomers that nobody wants to buy their McMansions so they aren't able to sell and downsize without taking a big cut in price that they aren't willing to accept?

for example, food prices go up, but the price of labor doesn't. So inflation is somewhere in between the two rates

This is marketing nonsense, apple loves to claim this about their products and their operating system, it's simply not true

There's no reason for their phones and computers to have the performance drops they do other than poorly optimized software. They are doing this on purpose, not because they are running into the limitations of processor architecture.

Exactly my point, it's bullshit planned obsolescence trying to squeeze every last drop of blood out of the stone

They want you on the "new phone every year" treadmill the same way car companies tried their damndest to get people to buy a new car each year. And with Apple, you can't just install a lighter and simpler version of Linux like Xfce onto the laptop or LineageOS onto the phone or whatever to keep the perfectly fine hardware usable

Well, you probably can, but it's not as simple due to how locked down they are...

I mean they're never not wash trading, so it doesn't go down on the app even if in reality you can't get sales unless you go below a certain price. Beyond that, the occasional panic from this sort of things could send money from other fake currencies into Bitcoin.
