every american ive ever met is shocked that me and the rest of my old company sounds just like them. we'd do site visits or they'd come to the shop and expect to hear some wacky accented speech. we're like yeah bro the canadian accent is a movie thing from like the 70s or something. we all sound the same

lol if you're near a great lake, there's a 50/50 chance you have that Canadian accent, either side of the border, its a fact

I'm gonna check out the kayak thread. My wife and inlaws threw me some scratch for my bday to get one so I can putt around the lake across the street and fish.

If two grown men can't make a pervert happy for a few minutes in order to watch a film about zombies, then maybe we should all just move to Iran!

We used to kayak alot, but when we moved to the coast, the girlfriend started getting spooked by the fact that the water here is filled with things that could kill us (gators and sharks), so we never do it anymore. Which is a bummer, because there are some amazing kayak spots here. I'm trying to get her used to it. We pedal boated with gators the other day, and she was cool with it, so fingers crossed.

I saw a group of chickens eating a deer today, and it was a real paradigm shift in how I view chickens. Like, I knew they were omnivores, but you don't know until you know, you know?

It's not a fair comparison when you're in Canada. It's fun money, not USD.

But that's still a lot for the game and I like it a lot.

drat. It's been a hot minute since I bought a triple A game on launch but I didn't think I was that out of touch with the prices.

Edit: even Canadian that's kinda steep, what's that like $75 us?

It's only $70 in real dollars (USD) which is still ridiculous but actually not terrible compared to beer or going out to eat

hcotc, if i were to make a new area of Friday Town in your honor what would you like:

the garbage dump
a university
a park (nature or city)
an industry area (oil, ore, forest, farming)

i could also make a residential district i guess

PICK ONE

It's actually a better deal for a Canadian when you compare it to the minimum wages. 16.75 in my province vs 7.25 in meaner states. Conversion rate is 1.34. Sucks.

It's hard to believe it's only gone up that much in all these years despite the price of everything skyrocketing.
