I saw people saying this and tested a few times with no luck, got a fair amount over 4x and the imprint worked. Thanks mate.

With the weird focus the story has on "swamp magic", which seems to be Haitian Vodou to the point where there's a long sequence with a loa I'm surprised that witch doctor wasn't part of the lineup from the start.

All in all the end game is quite fun. I think sorcerer needs a complete class rework though. Vulnerability being so incredibly strong makes all sorcerer builds the same, because they all revolve around frost nova. Ultimately you want remnant of the infinite to group enemies into a clump to frost nova and then delete them with your primary attack skill. Whether you are using charged bolt, arc lash, or ice shards as your damage dealing skill barely matters. Firewall sorc plays a bit differently, but it's noticeably weaker. The fact that so many of the mastery skills and core skills are useless is likely not what they intended or want.

failed like 5 of the escort-a-ghost events since it tells you to kill spirited enemies, and all the enemies are ghosts, but they actually want you to just kill the one single green-glowy guy at a time. nothing else counts for completing the event

Yeah I had those too where the glowing guy just didn't spawn fast enough to fill the bar.

Every ARPG game they want to make the combat have mechanics and be hard and then slowly realize people just want to fill the screen with explosions and collect better and better loot faster and faster.

I'm 56 and I can explode whole rooms easily (corpse tendril to pull then bone prison and spamming bone spear/CE). I'm glad combat is also still deliberate though.

You rogues out there, which specialization are you running and why? I can see the huge benefit from inner sight but I find it pretty inconsistent and the visual/audio cues of it triggering get lost in the noise so half the time I miss out on the burst because I didn't realize I had it. I mostly run combo points because it's easier to keep track of and with twisting blades the speed burst helps me get around without using a movement ability. I don't use an ultimate ability so preparation would be wasted on me.

So as far as I know, at least for the early game, I should scrap common items and sell blues or greater. Does that sound about right?

Also, are Aspect unlocks for all characters?

I've been using combo points because stabbing fast after flurry feels good for this attack speed addled brain and also it's a bunch of free passive damage boost without any thought really.

Not saying the other two are bad but I've not felt the draw to experiment yet. I could definitely see Preparation being a good time with more synergy from legendaries. Dunno about Inner Sight, Energy regen is passively fast and I don't mind doing other things or left-clicking.

I think I have decided I hate the level scaling. The game feels very same-y all the way through for me. No great new skills or powers to unlock. In WT2, I never get some kind of killer new kit that lets me stomp for a few levels. Just that same kinda grindyness forever.

I use combo points for mobs and inner sight for bosses. nothing melts them faster than chain casting twisting blades with the legendary aspect that makes them hover around you for a few seconds after returning

I made it to lvl 55 last night and started doing Lilith Statues in between Helltides. I'm feeling the itch for another character but want to unlock the account level stuff asap

Yeah here have a map with most, if not all, mystery chest locations:

Another thing about hellfire mystery chests - they move every hour. So if a rift starts at 11:15, the chests will move to another location in the helltide at 12:00 and can be looted again, making it 4-6 mystery chests per helltide. Obviously if a rift starts at the top of the hour you can only get 2-4 chests since they only last an hour.

Unless you have a specific need for gold I'm not sure I would even bother selling items. You can farm gold easier than crafting materials, and you go through a lot of them when upgrading. I just slam all my unused gear into salvage and I'm still floating as much gold as I would need at lvl 45.

The aspects you unlock from dungeons are for all characters, yeah.

you most certainly should be able to get to the point where you stomp on mobs. hell the only time I hit a wall was end of story and got stuck at capstone dungeon. I then started to actually pay attention to my gear and upgrade some old pieces. now I'm doing like 4x the damage from 2 days ago

Never a wall. Just always tougher than I expect. This could also be from playing too much D3 lately and just melting whole screens in seconds.

There's actually a ton of bugs I've encountered. Still one of their smoothest launches, but that's saying something.
- One of my skills disappears from my bar when it's active
- Respawned on wrong side of quest barriers
- Quest bugs and syncing issues, had to redo a portion of A6 since my party desynced
- Altars that didn't show up until after restarting
- Objectives I couldn't interact with
- Invisible quest objectives due to camera bugs
- Aforementioned gold cost UI mismatch
- Lagwalls and rubberbanding general issues

It's a delicate balance because if you can melt screens then the game has to then tank the rewards from encounters to compensate unless they want you clearing 50 levels in two hours.

The scaling seems to be tuned to give you the max XP for what you can efficiently handle, which feels worse but also puts you on a faster climb up the ladder.

Until you beat the campaign you might as well salvage everything to build up a stock of the different tiers of crafting materials. You don't really have much worthwhile to put your gold into yet, and a single item you pick up at level 50+ will sell for more gold than an entire inventory worth of poo poo from lower levels.

GOOD CLEAN FOOTBALL
Was trying to finish Tier 3 early and jump to tier 4 as a lvl 58 WW barb. I can already handle lvl 18 nightmare dungeons (lvl 70-72 mobs) and get through the capstone dungeon with ease.

But basically every attack from the capstone dungeon boss will 1 shot me. I can get to phase 3 but then the entire screen fills with adds, so I can't see the bosses attacks anymore and can't dodge them.

Decided to keep leveling to hopefully pick up some much needed survivability so that I can make mistakes and not get 1 shot.
