Like Denzel has been wrapping 12-13 years. That’s so wild. Just watching OF, SGP w Raider Klan, Rocky w A$AP, and Lil B, you just saw this huge shift in the visual culture, the way the music was being made and distributed. Certified Trapper is the final form of that stuff. Doing everything w the audio, beats/rapping/recording/mixing, along w the visuals even if it’s just an iPhone on a tripod in his room. And those are coming together in a day, sometimes multiple in a day. It’s wild to me. Babytron is one of those dudes who I’m surprised at his beat selection, and he has enough clever bars that he’s engaging to listen to. But I’m surprised how much of his music has a full music video and I have to wonder how much of that ties into his appeal and accessibility. As a dude who just turned the age you’d expect with my username, it was interesting seeing guys on a vlog post from Certified Trapper where he’s struggling who are like “I’m 50, and you have something.” Just… how could that have happened in 2004, ya know? And how does that kind of connection translate into views or streams or purchases? It’s a really cool world when you can see someone’s work start to come together.

Someone more in tune tell me if we'll see another Frank Ocean album anytime soon. I just started my love affair and want more. Even with the suggestions itt. I think chanel ORANGE is superior to Blonde. It has a number of really solid runs especially 'Crack Rock' through 'Pyramids' and 'Lost'. But the opener to Blonde... yeah. That music got scrapped, he started having all kinds of issues with his merchandise, started a really gauche jewelry brand, and then had his Coachella disaster.
