Like the keystone XL pipeline would not prevent Saudi Arabia and/or OPEC from increasing the price of oil to as high as they can get away with, it would just make the people who operate the keystone XL pipeline be able to skim more profit off the top, that is the whole point, that was always the point. Cost savings to the consumers was never part of the calculus and never will be in a pipeline project. Next time someone suggests building a pipeline would fix gasoline prices you should demand they show you the loving math about it.

Here's the latest to whet your appetites: My process is pretty straightforward. I open up imgur in one tab, a new reply in this thread next to it, and a google doc I have set up in the third tab. The google doc looks like this:  I click on the various links. If there's not a new image, I move on to the next artist. If there's a new image, I download it and run it through a local script I wrote to resize it to 750px width and change the type to something imgur supports (since sometimes it will be a jfif, avif, or webp file). Then I stuff it into imgur, grab the header from the google doc, and combine that with the link. Then I move on to the next person. At the end, I'll preview the post - sometimes resizing things to 750 doesn't work out (the gifs that Telnaes posts often get messed up, for instance). If that happens, I'll remove the modified version, upload the original, and replace the link in the post. if it's particularly large, I usually move it down to the bottom, too. The resizing and moving is just to make them look tidy on the page rather than having a bunch of randomly sized images in a row (and to make sure that none of them are too massive).

His brain still hasn't curdled from the original insanity when he went full swerf and his comics turned incomprehensible, he doesn't even seem to like trump very much, can't wait to see what happens. Does COVID break his brain? Antivax was a left-wing conspiracy theory before it got co-opted, my current best bet is that that's how they get him. I've gotten numb to Ishida's present day, unapologetic fascism, and kinda forget he Sinfest was ever anything else.
