I want Starfield to be great but I'm a little worried about it being a very broad but shallow game. Lots of neat systems but ultimately repetitive procedural stuff outside of the handcrafted main line. I dunno, I'm probably wrong.

If it were that great they wouldn't spend an hour interviewing employees to tell you how cool each of their specified game activities was. Real confidence in the game they'd say less. Compared to like TotK where they knew what they made was killer and they could drop it and people would soon be spreading the word of all the cool poo poo they see and do.
