Huh, so the main magic the gathering, ff14, and xenoblade subreddits are still privated and are joining the extended strike. I didn't bother checking them when the blackout started out of solidarity but its nice to know when I checked them earlier this morning.

I'm finding that the blackouts are a really cruel way to learn about new porn subreddits right as they go dark forever. My only solace is that there's already a stable diffusion checkpoint that had been trained on most of them, but sometimes I just want to look at a nude woman that isn't missing all her limbs and horrifyingly fused to her furniture (USER WAS PUT ON PROBATION FOR THIS POST)

The mods aren't users and it's hilarious to me that a tiny percentage of mods can just shut down reddit. Honestly reddit should just start mass banning them, their case is idiotic. No one gives a gently caress about api changes.l except losers and nerds.

Advertisers only care if there's NSFW content being shown alongside their ads. The only possible real purpose that aligns with their actions (bringing NSFW in-house rather than trying to push it out and make the display of it someone else's problem) is that they know a large portion of their userbase comes to reddit for NSFW content, and if they make it so the only way you can get at that NSFW is through their app; so they can get you into their sandbox, so when they inevitable drop the bomb and ban all the NSFW content (because Apple and Google and Mastercard and Visa tell them to), you're in the best position to stick around for their Other Great Content™️ in a way they can monetize. They're just so transparently operating in bad faith.
