anyone tried making a house swapper service, so lets say I’m all horned up at 2.5% and so is another person and we want to switch cities so instead of selling and needing to new rear end pounding mortgages we just exchange house keys with a little docusign for liabilities

starter homes shouldn’t be a thing everyone should get their own large apartment in brutalist apartment blocks with parks in the middle of each one and amenities no more than a 10 minute walk away including a subway station

It's best to consult a local real estate lawyer. You can rent one for an hour to explore how to do that. anonumos has issued a correction as of 21:23 on Jun 14, 2023 |

This has the effect of making everyone be loving wrong about the market if they think a big move or a directional move is going to happen.

Because of interest rate changes moving in to a slightly more desirable house would double my mortgage so no, I am not moving any time soon.

Restaurant food usually causes me stomach issues because the food is so rich and full of spices and butter. My wife and I will not eat out for pasta unless it’s a really nice Italian place and I’ll get something we don’t cook at home. We’ve made so many different types of pasta at home, just as good as the restaurants for much less. Why would I pay someone to make loving carbonara, cacio e pepe, or lobster spaghetti when I can do it myself? I can also make my own drat pasta by hand with my kitchen aid pasta rollers.

I can tell because a bubble tea shop I've never given my email address to somehow got my email address to send a coupon deal to. It reminds me of early covid when a bunch of companies I had no idea had my contact info crawled out of the woodwork to tell me how much they care about me.

lol there was a dumpy rear end unflipped non-remodeled 2BR/2Ba house with a pretty bad kitchen that was going up for sale next to my apartment and i thought maybe it’d get listed for <850 cuz it’s pretty small and not exactly family friendly. well... it just went up for 1 mill with like 8% mortgage rates lol

Local grocery now only prints receipts upon request, and you have to actually ask them instead of having the cashier prompt you. They'd already shrunk the text down to save space on paper, I wonder how much money they're saving per month by doing this. $75? $100?
