If your mortgage allows it, you can lease from each other (some mortgages require owner-occupancy). It's best to consult a local real estate lawyer. You can rent one for an hour to explore how to do that.

But then you both have to pay income taxes on the rental income, it's worse than a house swap.

Restaurant food usually causes me stomach issues because the food is so rich and full of spices and butter. My wife and I will not eat out for pasta unless it’s a really nice Italian place and I’ll get something we don’t cook at home.

We’ve made so many different types of pasta at home, just as good as the restaurants for much less. Why would I pay someone to make loving carbonara, cacio e pepe, or lobster spaghetti when I can do it myself? I can also make my own drat pasta by hand with my kitchen aid pasta rollers.

That reminds me I went to a place where it was very obvious the noodles in the ramen were literally the .30 pack of maruchan or whatever. It was still stuck together and everything.

Everything is so expensive now people must be pulling back on their purchases. I can tell because a bubble tea shop I've never given my email address to somehow got my email address to send a coupon deal to. It reminds me of early covid when a bunch of companies I had no idea had my contact info crawled out of the woodwork to tell me how much they care about me.

I went for Korean stone pot soup, it was $20 before tip. It was $30 for soup and bbq combo and this was for lunch!

That was for tofu soup too not meat soup. That was like a $10 soup before the loving pandemic. Ramen around here is easily $20 before tax now.

Local grocery now only prints receipts upon request, and you have to actually ask them instead of having the cashier prompt you.

They'd already shrunk the text down to save space on paper, I wonder how much money they're saving per month by doing this. $75? $100?

anyways I haven’t really noticed, receipts auto print anyways and they ask if you want it or not but it’s still printed

I sold half at like 400 yesterday. I have VTSAX instead of VOO because I'm an idiot. I just remember when I got out of Gamestop at like 110 and it would've been way more if I'd waited a day. But that's the wrong kind of thinking. I'm out! Tesla too.

Feels good. So I assume that now that I've eliminated my position, Tesla and NVDA will go to the moon tomorrow.
