My buddy gave me some old hand planes he had sitting around and I fixed em in up to useable status. None of them are particularly good or valuable but you can't beat free. A longer Stanley "handyman" that's useable as a joining plane, a Shelton no 4 that doesn't have a chip breaker, and a Stanley block plane that's not bad at all. I sorta flattened the soles, mostly rust removal, and sharpened them up and they all cut well enough for me. I could mate the chip breakers better but ehhh

i was cutting grooves into a drawer for the drawer bottom to slide into using a router and it slipped and chewed up the side of my finger. i got rid of the router a few days later, and then the rest of my power tools within the next couple months. the jig just has the angles molded in and then magnets to hold the saw at those angles. it's hard to take pictures of but there's videos out there showing how to use it.
