I took the sub, it was a diving night A quarter mil, to see titanic sights We started looking out, a 10 inch piece of glass But then the rivets all came free And that's about the time the walls caved in on me Nobody wants to be a panini And be stuck in water to decompose What the hell is PSI? poo poo there goes the pressure gauge How much did I spend? How much did I spend?

I am shocked they didn't use a glass-break sensor from SimpliSafe, seems more in line with the build.

Commander Jebus posted:Also a cylindrical design for a submersible that goes that deep is a terrible decision and there is a reason why all other deep diving submersibles are spheres. It works for military subs because they are much shallower vessels comparatively. This is so much cooler, and you'll actually be able to see stuff not through lovely screens and probably survive. If you're a billionaire, why would you fork out Ł250k for the home-made version? I'm sure you can buy a trip in this with the right money!

sub builder: The monkey toy with cymbals activates when the hull is at ~99,9% critical status. sub builder: Also the canary in the cage will drop dead when oxygen is too low.

Someone did the math earlier and the compression would ignite the air in the sub and it would burn at like 200,000 degrees for an instant, so before they became goop they were flash fried.

Well if it didn't cause the fire you'd definitely barely register that water coming at you and shredding you. Assuming you're 4 feet away you'd have about 13milliseconds or a blink's worth of time before splat. E: no wait a blink is 100ms, nvm. They'd just blissfully splat. Ee: apparently you can register 13ms, sucks to suck. Grey Cat fucked around with this message at 21:10 on Jun 20, 2023 |
