At least you can use the base trace material to synthesize the higher level ones. It's not great but it can cut the grind a little eventually.

I'm using Tingyun on a team with Dan Heng, but I will happily replace her with Asta if I get Pela. Welt's on that team and with Asta's ult things get funny for the enemy.

It's 1 day of farming to get one of your traces from 8 to 9, and about a day and a half to get to rank 10. Generally focus on the Ascension Traces, then the small traces, then the ability traces. In terms of total investment, it takes about 12.25 days to take someone from 8 to 10 at TB60 and up, with ~1/8 of a day reduction each time you get lucky and roll a purple trace item.

It's a tougher call for Seele since you'd be resetting Swordplay every time you swat an add to trigger resurgence. I pulled Sleep like the Dead on the standard banner and have been quite happy with it, though. Big crit numbers.

Decided, gently caress it, I'll do 1 ten pull for Silver Wolf, got the 5 star animation... it was her light cone, because I selected the wrong god drat warp again. Then I did a ten pull on the actual warp, and got her, I'm so lucky in spite of my stupidity.

Ditto, only Gepard (newbie banner pity) and Silver Wolf here, plus a 5* cone from normal banner. Admittedly I have been incredibly stingy with my gold tickets so I'm not surprised by that.

I would say my 5 star luck has been pretty good but I don't save jade or tickets so I've easily hit the soft pity at least 4 times plus the beginner banner. I have 4 5* characters, an eidolon and a best in slot lc so a little bit of good luck.

Ignoring fire trailblazer my luck has also been pretty good ! I’ve got 6 (Seele, SW, Bronya, himeko, gepard & bailu) along with Clara’s 5* LC. With himeko & bailu at E1. Of course I went for both Seele & SW’s banners, and also have the daily pass or whatever.

I have Bronya, Seele, Jing Yuan E1, Bailu, plus the Bailu and Himeko light cones, and I'll probably hit guaranteed pity on Silver Wolf before her banner cycles. Only bought whatever the Welkin equivalent is called and BP. I had a lot of crying to do about my RNG in Genshin at first and in FGO lately, but I can't complain about Star Rail. Star Rail loves me.
