this is basically true of everything except whatever the biggest sport is in your country. Even the biggest music artists and movie stars are much smaller than they used to be and a lot of older names dominate those industries.

Batista wins because he appeared on Neighbours.

No joke, a lot more people watch Neighbours than would ever watch Raw or Smackdown so him being on the show was likely more important for his desired change of career than any more world titles. Hell, my mother didn't even know he was a wrestler!

I honestly expected more push back so the only complaint of no Miz was a relief. Slot him in for Piper and there you go. Funny how they both won the main event of the marquee shows of their promotions due to generous helpings of bull dung.

It seems that to be remembered by the public, you have to be willing to deal with the elitism and vapidness of mainstream media while giving them a entertaining reason for you to use them. The Rock didn't get to speak at political conventions and alongside billionaires by being pedestrian.

The opening segment of WWE Raw changed Monday, and we've learned more about what was planned.

Tommaso Ciampa returned on WWE on Monday night defeating The Miz, but he was actually supposed to answer the open challenge of Seth Rollins. The match between Rollins and Ciampa was set to get a ton of time, but was changed multiple times over the weekend prior, and a few hours before the show.

Internally, the match was listed as TBA vs. Seth Rollins, but was changed to have Rollins attacked and Ciampa to face the Miz. We're told that the move was a Vince McMahon move and all of those originally planned for the match wanted the match to go through as planned. We haven't heard that it was so Ciampa wouldn't lose his first match back, as there was a plan in order that would have been a non-finish.,

There has been an internal plan to reunite Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano, and Gargano was backstage, but he wasn't planned for the show by the time the night of rolled around.

I mean give Ricochet credit, he's never made any bones about his spot. He's showing up, doing his flips and cashing his checks. And he seems pretty self-aware about this whole dumbass situation.

I mean it's not like he'd be doing any better in AEW. There's more guys with his skillset there and he can't talk.

Going back a bit here but my partner walked in the room while I was watching a random dynamite and said 'oh my god is that Mr rear end?'

He recognised him from his appearance on Sabrina The Teenage Witch. On this basis I put forward 'The Bad rear end' Billy Gunn as the most recognisable modern wrestler.

No post about this awesome video from SuperEyepatchWolf about the Roman Reigns storyline?

Alright, I'll link it: https://youtu.be/UaDAzXVycR4

Now I had stopped watching WWE way before the Bloodline started, and while watching this video I tried to remember what exactly got me to give up on WWE completely. I mean, I suffered throughout the entire Cena era, so what happened?

I honestly think it was Reigns that broke me. Suffering through his matches and promos, which were all terrible, knowing that he was the new Cena and he was going to be shoved down my throat for the next decade, I think that did me in.

Now, some of the stuff in this video which I've never seen looks good. Especially all the stuff with Sami. But it was all a complete accident on WWE's part, let's be honest. It was no delicately planned storyline like Hangman and the Elite, for instance.

Anyway, I highly recommend this video. It's long as gently caress but it's super entertaining and this guy is legit at analysing stuff while remaining humorous and emotionally open
