It's so depressing to watch. I've seen a number of posts circulating on social media that are like "hey consider bumping up your normal AC temperature by a degree or two this summer" and you'd think people have been handed a gun and asked to pick one of their children to murder. It's all gonna go to poo poo sooner or later, global industrial capitalism is unsustainable as gently caress

Diabetes is actually caused by fat and not carbohydrates. Either from diet or adipose tissue. Saturated fat in particular gums up your insulin receptors and prevents sugar from leaving your bloodstream.

This was the biggest crack ping for me a few years back. Even if we got rid of all the billionaires civilization won’t change because we don’t know how to live differently. Not even socialism can save us because nearly everyone, including working people, have no clue what it would take to reverse climate change.

I think it was Lula that said we can’t tell poor people they can’t have beef. Ultimately everyone is driven by consume consume consume mindset.

We can defeat capitalism if we unite with our working-class allies Chet and Stryker, right after they finish retweeting the June 2018 Greta tweet about humanity being killed by climate change if we don't severely brake our use of fossil fuel within 5 years. Every social issue has one, maybe two figureheads and if I don't like the figureheads that means the issue they care about isn't real. Al Gore and Greta Thunberg are bad so climate change isn't real in much the same way that Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton are bad so that means racism isn't real
