I think it's also important to get re-reg's from permabanned weirdos probed as fast as possible, because there seems to be a pretty direct correlation between the amount of time they have to interact and the number of follow-up re-reg's they attempt once they finally catch another ban. If linking the post here results in faster action than just reporting it, that's clearly the way to go.

don't report the name of the permabanned user, doing so will bolster their ego and inspire copycats instead, pull the logs to see who read the thread. post the names of the victims. remember their names, their sacrifice.

It takes a mild amount of effort to go to the reports forum, see the amount of reports there, lose faith in humanity and close the forum again. I mean, what I am saying is that I'm fine with the permabanned posters being reported here.

i think it’s far time this dying forum goes f2p to fix its dwindling numbers. one report every 24 hours. a big countdown timer. perhaps a flashing button that says “report now for only 99¢!”?

also just fyi to gbs users, tho i am often busy outside work hours (my work pc is my posting station), i do get emails when i get pms and generally check my emails often enough that i should be able to pull the trigger on obvious reregs if the mod queue is not being checked fast enough for your liking.
