My new stupid music poo poo: ordering something from Sweetwater, forgetting that they will immediately start calling and texting and won’t ever stop until you ask them. They’re so nice I feel bad telling them to stop but it’s annoying as hell.

I bought an AC adapter for an old pedal from Sweetwater and got regular calls from them for 8 years. That's not exaggerated for a joke, either. 8 years.

I've barely had any calls from them  but that might be because i just ignore the call if i see fort wayne indiana on the ID and they gave uplisten i will give money for things when my sad brain makes me think i want a thing

Log in, go to the contact page for your personal salesperson and just type in, "please don't call me ever again" and they won't. They will also get right back to you if you email them a question.

what haven't I done lately? hosed around on craigslist let's see what stupid poo poo I find today a guitar signed by the rolling stones for $13k or $15k depending on if you read the headline or the ad text (and where all the photos are pictures of photos on a computer monitor, complete with mouse cursor) the longhorn piano that some guy has been trying to unload for literally years and I posted in the last thread, now for $1250 instead of (checking) $1995 and introducing SHiNOBi NiNJA

A little while ago I had posted about issues I was having with getting a guitar shipped from a smaller luthier, thanks to the posters here I was able to get it all sorted out. The stupid music poo poo that happened after is that I didn't really bond with the guitar that much and I think it was mostly due to me not really getting the sounds I wanted out of the P90 pickups, so I ended up just putting the guitar aside and going back to my PRS Vela. The even more stupid music poo poo is that today I thought "maybe I should go back to those P90s and try adjusting the pickup heights and/or pole piece heights to see if that helps" and yeah, it absolutely did, really liking what I'm hearing. I think I still need to do some more fine tuning on those heights as well as dialing in the amp to better suit it but overall I'm much happier with it now then I was before. I promised to post a picture of the guitar, so here is one that I just took, sorry that it's not a particularly good photo.

I did it. I went to the Jimmy Page Nando's. It's almost impossible to sit in the window / be seen from outside. Pretty sure he tipped off the paparazzi himself.
