Hmm. Sci-fi thrillers are a favorite of mine so I’ll look up some of his other stuff. I just finished the Southern Reach Trilogy which was good as hell, need more sci-fi mysteries to solve.

you and Peggy should both read the Nexus trilogy by Ramez Naam. It's a cyberpunk thriller and I absolutely loved them, but never hear anyone talk about them

I’ll queue it up on the kindle.

Also trying to get through a physical copy of House of Leaves but I need to have complete solitude to focus on that one which is rare in my house.

I read Good News From Outer Space recently picked up from a thrift store for $1 and it was way better than I expected considering nobody has ever heard of it.

It has dadaist punks that break into cars and install stereo systems.

My instagram apparently thinks that I'm really into blues guitar riffs for some reason, when I'm definitely not. I am definitely into Mads Mikkelsen interviews and Simpsons nostalgia clips though so it's got it mostly correct

I'd read King prior to it, but I read On Writing in a college class and it made me appreciate him a lot more, even if I'm not his biggest fan.

If two grown men can't make a pervert happy for a few minutes in order to watch a film about zombies, then maybe we should all just move to Iran!

It's not a true mystery because you follow the killer throughout the book so not really a huge deal but it's really weird that your mom would recommend the second book in a trilogy.
