After the SMRPG does well enough that they make a remake of Paper Mario 64, hopefully.

The Thousand Year Door on Switch : when?

I don’t know if they uprezzed any non-UI assets in Mario Sunshine for 3dAS, but just bumping it up to 16:9@1080p and uprezzing the UI alone made an astonishing difference in presentation, I legit have no idea how any of us played that in fullscreen

Well firstly 4:3 is a better aspect ratio than 16:9 and always has been. Widescreen is a scam perpetrated by the from industry because television caught up. Sadly television is now also 16:9

My friend had that phone and held onto it for years until it died. Then he got this stupid thing.

It weighs like two pounds and can easily bash a man's skull in. The screen has a terrible aspect ratio and it always has issues connecting to people's wifi.

Apparently has a great battery.

Revenge of Shinobi was the reason I got a Genesis over a NES. Ghouls and Ghosts was the game we got since we bought the Genesis at the “get a second controller and game by mail”. Much love for both games. Yuzo Koshiro’s RoS soundtrack is the bomb. My kids know it because I have a tendency to play it in the car.

When I bought my MD flash card setup all of the blank flashable rom cards were crusader of centy copies. Good crop of games. Nintendo is figuring some poo poo out.

Edit: stupid autocorrect making Yuzo into Tusk.

Are there any decent styluses (styli?) for the Switch which have some kind of convenient holder kind of like the DS? Have some long flights coming up and thinking to do some Etrian but worried that I will lose the pen easily.

It uses the sbc codec which is like, 200ms, give or take. It should auto-synchronize with streaming video, but it's no good for games, pretty much.

It won't matter which brand you use.

I’ve heard actual film makers argue that 4:3 is superior for certain genres, I forget the specifics but it allows for a more intimate experience somehow

16:9 is a gently caress. 16:10 is cool and good.

4:3? Uh, well it served a purpose at the time I guess. Nowadays it's only nostalgia surely? What next, one of those old circular screens from Logie Baird's shed?

I was about to say that my Vectex screen was rad, but that's the old nostalgia cravings again eh

Given the file sizes, I'm pretty sure it's the mgs HD collection for ps3, but i can't be certain.

On the Switch eshop it says they're the HD Collection versions.

The Thousand Year Door on Switch : when?

Weren't the Pikmin Wii games part of the $20 line up? It's only a $10 difference, $5 more if you buy both games at once. Honestly that's not bad considering Nintendo knows people will pay higher and thank them for the privilege
