I feel like I understood there were limits to what my parents could get and never felt comfortable pushing them on it. My dad yelling at my mom about finances with us in the house did uh, some things. The kids will eventually understand why Disney vacations and unlimited robux were untenable and why you would have had to turn them down.

im just going to tell my daughter we’re going to orlando disney and fly to japan and go to that one there instead, it’s exactly the same but people know how to queue. she won’t know the difference when shes 6

My mom keeps going to disney long after everyone else has gotten bored with it. Family jokes about it but now I'm convinced it's a sign of deep traumatic illness. So, you know, there's that.

I was slightly upset as a kid that my parents said no to Disneyland but after growing up I get it. As a parent I think you can make the decision that going to a national park or something is better for your kid then an overpriced mall with rides

I don’t eat healthy when I’m in Europe , lots of meat, some fish and veggies but I do feel a lot better regardless. This summer we’re going to Italy too so I plan to eat lots of pasta and pizza lmao.
