Yesterday when Kotick was on the stand, he said he doesn't agree with Microsofts decision to put all of Activisions games on Gamepass if the deal goes through. But Kotick is also a dumb idiot person surrounded by actual smart people.

Having played a little bit of early access, every single response you can give results in a cutscene or dialog moment that is different from the other options you could have picked. That is what they are counting. The actual amount of cutscenes and dialog you are going to see in a single playthrough is actually much shorter.

You don't have EA play with base game pass. I guess it's really only a semantic difference but it's only EA games via the EA service.

the previous 5 years of monumental idiocy on the part of sega killed dreamcast far more than lost sales through piracy. they woulda had to hit astronomical levels of sales to un-gently caress themselves by that point. maybe dreamcast lasts a couple months longer with perfect anti-piracy measures but it was not a substantial factor to why it died, and it was never going to be able to stand up to the ps2 even if sega hadn't spent the previous half-decade making GBS threads its diaper.
