So I'm running Road to Elite as Lance Archer and is the game supposed to be this easy on Normal difficulty? Won the Casino Battle Royale with 13 eliminations (Darby had 5 and Chuck Taylor and somebody else each had 1). I've yet to lose a match and my All Out match against Jericho is next. I usually really, really suck at these types of games.

I tried it yesterday just to see what happens and if you load them into it again they start over with no stat points. I dunno what happens at the end of the campaign on run 2 (whether you just get to keep the new stats and that’s a re-allocation all of its own, or if you can combine the two, or some mystery third option) because I didn’t feel like doing it over with the same guy right away, but thankfully just loading into the mode seemingly doesn’t make the stat reset permanent because when I backed out and started with another person my original guy had all his stats back. The fact you get more stat points depending on what you do and the difficulty you play on makes it more complicated than just “finish RTE to get your stats”

it's really fun but i doubt ill unlock owen, i just don't see 100 exhibition matches being very fun with the limitations the game has. Is RTE the same for every character? I know there's branching paths but let's say I take like, Orange Cassidy and two other licensed wrestlers through RTE, how much of that is going to be repetition across playthroughs I wonder? stuck at work or i'd find out myself

FYI if you're using the 2game link: Discount code WARIO64 gives you an additional 10% off. I bought the basic edition because I want to see how good it is before getting any extras. So far just adding a few extra wrestlers and mini-games doesn't feel worth the price hike for the upgrade, but I assume I'll be able to get those in a pack anytime in the future.

I had him as an opponent in a gauntlet match at some point but he didn’t get unlocked or anything so I guess that wasn’t the route that does that He was too big for me to lift him so half my moves just ended in my guy giving up and grabbing at his back in pain Very authentic

It's very dumb that you can't do anything but bank points and cash as an AEW wrestler aside from buying very cheap cosmetics and temporary buffs. It would be a lot better if the CAW system had a ton of stuff to spend all those points on but functionally speaking like 80% of the currency you get has no point and will just sit there accumulating forever. Maybe that'll get better with more DLC, there just isn't enough stuff to spend the points and cash on atm

I was futilely trying to give Orange Cassidy more moves and there is no way to actually buy any of the stuff that looks like it should be buyable! If you try to you just get told you can't modify the skills of AEW wrestlers. But the UI looks like it extremely gives you the option to! It's bizarre

I feel like there has to be more that they’ll add to the shop. They have a section called Moves that only has taunts Is there any faster way to scroll through options in the moveset suite than just holding the direction up/down? It’s taking forever to get from the top of the list down

Yeah from memory if you go into the options from the main menu there’s a section called wrestler info or something like that, you can select any wrestler and see what skills they have available by pressing whatever button it tells you is ‘list skills’ on your platform.
