Yes. But growing enough watermelon for a piece of heart really doesn't take that long. Like, yeah, it took a bit but not *months*. Even this 40000 potato nonsense isn't taking me months. I don't think.

Fair warning, the quest line requires a few stupidly rare drops (Piece of Heart, Gold spud, Gold Boots). After part 12, it should be a gentle walk downward... Assuming you can make a lot of Chum too, which you should do when you can.

Well I did ATI first and got tower 30 fairly quickly which gives some very nice permanent boosts (crop growth speed, more silver from selling, less silver spent crafting) I would definitely do that because a lot of the materials needed for ATI are shared by AWITW e: mailbox sale rn, boosted mine to 405 Beasteh fucked around with this message at 14:47 on Jul 1, 2023 |

I unlocked the tower first before trying to open Glacier Lake - potato jail would have ment I unlocked it firsr anyway. 18,000 potatos more unless I get a drop! EDIT: Though it looks like I'll be growing lots of potatoes anyway to get hot potato drops.

I thought this at first but they aren’t tradeable, so your only real benefit is growing enough to complete the single-time temple reward. That will require 10k hot potatoes = 100k normal potatoes though, so it might take the whole month. Someone tell me if I’m wrong.

As far as I'm aware that's the only way to get the summer basket with the sand dollar required for borgen's quest (the temple reward cruelly gives you one of the two needed early)
