just rolled credits on the EidosMontreal Guardians of the Galaxy.

what a charming little game. it’s like a light version of FF7r, mass effect, and the comics continuity of Guardians of the Galaxy.

I can see someone playing full price might be disappointed. The game is only about 8-10h long, and a little buggy (mostly strange stutter, no clip bugs, and some transitions not triggering) but if you’re already paying for Gamepass or gamePiSs then it’s a fun couple evenings if you can get past Star Lord’s voice direction, which sounds a lot like Arin Hanson’s “generic male dangonropa protagonist” voice at time

addendum: the star lord VA can barely hold the Canadian in… there’s a couple combat banter lines where the Canadian SOARrry just burns right through your ear holes.

Yeah same. Is there a goon group or anything? Pubbies are okay in that game but I like playing with the same people over time where I can.

Really I just need to figure out how to get my mic playing nice with proton, the one issue I have with steam on Linux really. Probably just need to take an hour and dig into the issue, I'm sure someone's already solved it but :effort:
