Nice, is that some sort of plucking/tapping I'm hearing on the guitar there? I'm definitely enjoying the added smoothness, whatever the effect is

I hated that. My solution, since I only really use youtube on desktop Chrome, was to add it as a search engine with the following string: code:

There's a lot of music I like that isn't available in physical formats or digitally, especially like weird Soviet era psych rock or Japanese 80s goth stuff etc. It's quite active. Nicotine+ is the best soulseek client in my experience. I’ve hopped into IRC for the first time recently and am still getting my bearings. I’ve never messed with soulseek but I’m done with the new internet model and am reverting to old infrastructure hard. What’s old is new again.

Which song do you guys most closely associate with your early days of internet piracy? All this talk made this song pop into my head and remember installing Napster on all the highschool classroom computers. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vdN6PpPq0_I I also remember playing a cover of the roof is on fire as the school gymnasium burned and feeling like the internet had surely gotten as good as it was going to get. It just seems like a regular 3rd party reddit app that also happens to be compatible with phone accessibility stuff. I know Reddit said they would exclude accessibility apps from the API changes, but is this what they meant?

feverish and oversexed posted:does anyone else still occasionally use irc and/or soulseek to get obscure files? Soulseek is amazing if you DJ. You can download all sorts of dance remixes in seconds. It's entirely feasible to play a continuous mix in the DJ software of your choice while just choosing songs off the top of your head and tabbing over to Soulseek to downloading them in the background.
