There are some smoke-free hotels and casinos on the Strip which is good business when you're one of the few. Wynn and Trump eventually became friends after their initial feuds. Wynn isn't a very good person either. Phil Ruffin used to hold Trump rallies on his properties like Treasure Island but even he smartened up which is why the latest chud gathering was far from both the Strip and Downtown.

Yeah, people like Wynn and Ruffin are kind of a cross between the mob Vegas of yesterday and the corporate Vegas of today. They also own some of the only properties on the Strip that don't belong to either Caesars Entertainment or MGM Resorts.
