How about bicycles vs. motorcycles? Surely that is something the OSHA thread can agree on?

Vargatron posted:I had a home OSHA story happen to me on Saturday. I was cleaning the bathroom floor where I keep my cat's litter boxes with bleach and their happened to be a spot of dried cat urine that I didn't see before I put down the bleach. I heard this fizzing sound and immediately backed out of the bathroom closet because I felt my eyes burning. I also managed to do the same. Some years ago I bought some fancy crystalline litter that was advertised as not needing any cleaning beyond picking out the poops, and it was supposed to last one month for one cat. Well it super wasn't because two weeks in I discovered under the crystals a thick layer of pee slurry, which I naively tried to wash off with some bleach. I realized quickly what was going on when breathing became difficult and carried the chlorine gas dispenser to the balcony and let it completely air out there.

Let me tell you, it was a weird rear end feeling just sitting there waiting to turn and feel a hard bump, then a guy dressed like a cosplaying gymnast flying by.

I deal with people speeding between the speed bumps next to rows of parked cars along the park where families hang out all the time. It's almost admirable how committed Americans are to doing the absolute dumbest poo poo. Speedbumps? gently caress you I'm not slowing down *slams into it at 50mph, shattering their chassis* People in the road? Cyclists? Probably communists, they should be forced off the road. If they weren't commies they'd have cars. I bought my car (which I use to do sick jumps over speedbumps ofc) during COVID when prices were a bit jacked and the rate on the loan part was fairly high but the total cost was like 1k higher overall and because prices have stayed high it's worth 2x the buyout price. The dealership is desperate to get me to refinance onto a new one lol.

If I suspend my disbelief, that sub transcript both proves that the real-time hull monitoring system worked and was useless because it warns you after your hosed.
