One of the latest grifts is to use AI to write a story then use AI to populate it with pictures and dump it on Amazon to get "passive income you didn't need to work for". Having the images sort of look enough like each other to stop people asking for a refund is important in this.

If it detected a flag, it literally shut down and called a human moderator to read your story and verify you weren't doing anything bad. Referring to a child character's age, in any context, would often trip the flag. Sometimes the AI would decide to veer into sexual content unprompted and it get flagged on its own. Other times sexual content would get flagged with no mention of children, and now you have some stranger reading your weird private porn fic. Certain words like "melon" would trigger a flag. At one point, the word "horse" would trigger a flag. It wasn't as simple as just slapping an anti-CSAM filter on and driving out a bunch of obvious pedophiles.
