I think he's a guaranteed generational type of defensive player unless his legs fall off or something but my wembanyama hot take for a while has been that the shooting stuff is probably not real. People talk about him like he's KD but he's never shot the ball well. Ever! 29% on 300 attempts from 3 over the course of his pro-ish career in France since 19-20. That's bad! Still one of the most gifted big men any of us have ever seen, but the stuff about him being a lethal pull-up shooting 7'5" Kevin Durant is a psyop that has been perpetrated against us by the French, imo.
