The first and last time I went on FB Marketplace, I was bombarded by extremely thinly veiled sex work ads. I have no quarrel with sex workers and want them to have a safe and hospitable space in which to work, but it sure was something to log in for the first time and get hit with all of those ads at once.

The irony is that if he had gone to Syria and fought alongside the Kurds against the Islamic State in 2014 instead of just showing up in 2012 and getting captured by Assad, he would have been regarded as a hero instead of a bizarre, creepy footnote in the forums history.

I doubt he even bothered with non compete clauses (at least any that would hold up) for those employees that were laid off via Slack. Zuck/Meta could even argue that they aren't competing with Twitter, since Twitter has made so many fundamental changes.

�She left her children for this and doesn't even care,� Katy Garner, whose sister fell under Protzman�s spell, told VICE News in 2021.

�She is missing birthdays and holidays for this. She truly believes this is all real and we are the crazy ones for trying to get her to come home. But she won�t, I don�t believe she will ever come back from this. We are in mourning.�

�Protzman impacted the lives of so many families in such a negative way, families were torn apart, many members lost their assets due to following him,� an open-source researcher going by the name �Karma,� who has tracked this cult closely since its inception, told VICE News. �Some of these families will never be the same. After his accident two weeks ago, details about Protzman�s condition were tightly controlled by his inner circle of half a dozen followers. It was originally going to be a casino and resort on the strip, but Trump couldn't get a property on the strip nor could get get the appropriate licenses for the resort or casino. Thus it just became a giant hotel not terribly far from the strip.

This is something where the impact would be mainly rental car companies and it�ll depend on how aggressive they are about it. Even if it�s only some types of state IDs/licenses that are invalid if it�s ambiguous enough then they may just blanket deny people from those states.

Why would it get tossed? It'll be tried in a Florida court by a Florida chudge. Even if it goes Federal it'll stay in state. I don't think that any appeals process will result in relief.
