Not 5e, all others have their merits (but I still would not recommend the Red Clearance edition that came between Perfect Edition and 25th Anniversary).

Thanks for all the answers. 2E is the one I think I've read but my baby RPG brain had no idea wtf it was seeing at the time having only played Tunnels and Trolls at that point and maybe WHFRP. I'll grab the 25th anniversary PDFs, I need a game to run silly one-shots at birthday parties and such

Troubleshooters/Internal Security/High Programmers is the Holy Trinity of Paranoia, and saying anything else is Treason. High Programmers holds a special place in my heart for being the perfect Bond Villain game with only minor adjustments.

Speaking of, I could swear I recall one edition of Paranoia had a page/sidebar making fun of the idea of following the rules slavishly, with a GM's house being surrounded by the RPG Cops for not using all the tables or something similar, but I just can't track it down. Can anyone help me with whether this came to me in a dream or if its actually in a published Paranoia book?
