i bought it at ea launch so i could gently caress around with it with some buddies and the combat is a fun dnd style twist on the dos2 combat, which should tell you all you need to know if you enjoyed that one. absolutely 100% dont buy it until its out at this point because theyre going to wipe the saves and like other larian games theres a long runup until you can truly get started

The dos2 intro dungeon was certainly an improvement over the dos1 intro dungeon. You can ransack everything in the starting shanty town and be getting brutally torn to bits by crocodiles within like half an hour. The bear beastiality video kind of has me worried about bg3 tbh, though. Those other larian games had way too much monkeycheese type poo poo going on. Are the enchanted wells going to make a comeback? Those gremlin guys in your base? Remains to be seen
