Being a fan project retrochivement avoids a lot of the more odious aspects of modern game development in regards to achievements and also offers insight into the sometimes nebulous fan outlook regarding the games that they love; inside jokes, challenge runs, masochistically difficult challenges all these can find purchase inside of an achievement set and it says a lot about the culture of that game to see what is added, adored, or denigrated in that subset.

I love feeling lost so dipping into a new Paradox game, never informed, is like a warm bath for me I still don't know how trade routes work I need to actually get into Aurora one of these days... I did learn Dwarf Fortress after all Aurora is the game that looks like this:

i am loving up the aliens in xcom 2 but even though i put it on easy difficulty i think i might lose the campaign. the spooky chosen assasin lady's bar is close to full and i dont have anyone ranked high enough to finish her hunt operations.
