I know I slept on the show because I'd seen the odd episode late on a channel that normally had the likes of NCIS and CSI, which I'd long since stopped watching. It was only when an Ars Technica review went on about the final season and the stuff leading up to it, that I gave it a shot and realised it was just great television.
