My real gripe with the patch is that my rogue was right in that gap between WT3 and WT4 where she was already squishy as gently caress at level 70, and this patch to make that gap even wider catches people in the high 60’s-low 70’s in a bad place. I thought the 50-70 WT3 grind was pretty terrible as it was, having enemies jump 10 levels if I switch over at lvl70 in s1 is making me wonder whether I’ll bother. I never bothered beating the final boss in Elden Ring, if I want to get poo poo on in a stupid video game with no pause function I’ll just play that.

Logged into my 69 Rogue to get the Renown progress saved and was rewarded with the last tier completing on all zones. I tried running a random Nighmare Dungeon sigil I had and got my rear end handed to me. Could be the damage nerfs or it could be that I had already burned out days ago and started playing D2R again. Anyway, will probably poopsock some time tonight until the kid wakes up. The question is... Druid or Barb? Looking for something tanky and braindead-ish since I ended frustrated by the Rogue's squishiness. Skovos expansion when.

Finally got my first unique the other day (Vasily's Prayer), which is good for me since I'm trying to go with an Earthbear build. I haven't been playing much though because I'm waiting on my gf and friends to get through the drat story so they can join me in Tier 3, plus Final Fantasy 14 & 16 are hard to get away from. Would like to get the Insatiable Fury chestpiece one of these days. I'll probably get it 30 seconds after everyone decides that Werebear is terrible and should never be used.

There will probably be a bunch of uniques, legendaries, paragon boards and stuff added in season 2 to really shake things up, so sorc will be so crazy then. Good thinking!

Yeah usually I charge into packs and then slam pulverize until I'm out of spirit and then tap maul once or twice to get spirit and it's back on the pulverize button until everything dies. You want to pump overpower damage percents and build towards having overpower go off more. Once you do that, while its single target is a bit mediocre, it feels great to slam into a pack of 30-40 enemies and just one or two tap the entire pack with Pulverize.

Hi E/N I decided last weekend I would not play anymore in anticipation for season 1. Much to the dismay of my family and loved ones I have been suffering from psychological withdrawals for the past few days, mood swings, loss of purpose, feelings of emptiness and existential dread. I had a strong urge to tap into my summer vacay weed and get super baked in order to cope, but thankfully I managed to mind over matter all this and held it together successfully. Today I have a social call 8.5h from now (the exact time S1 launches) which will last about 2hrs, giving everyone else time enough to login and play while I will be somewhere else away from my computer and screen. I estimate the queue times once I return to the PC will be insane and I am trying to prepare myself mentally for the possibility of not even being able to log into the game today and having to wait until tomorrow to play
