I’m not arguing for it being better, there are tons of problems and growing pains happening there, just explaining it from the bit that I know.

Eg https://aus.social/public for the timeline of all the posts on all the servers aus.social is connected to (which is all the servers its users are following people on), and https://aus.social/about for the server rules plus the list of what servers have been excommunicated.
