My kneejerk thought was "what dumbass team lets their quarterback get hit during training camp" before immediately remembering that non-contact injuries exist and they're often, uh, worse.

I was going to say cramp or pulled calf which is painful as hell and I hope that's what it is.

my gut says achilles though

edit: or maybe not?

He's down for awhile before they call a cart out.

I mean it's possible it's a cramp, but c'mon, not even Paul Pierce would....

I was going to say if that's the injury he has (he was wearing a compression sleeve on that calf BEFORE the injury) then I've had that and it was a loving nightmare.

Not only does it take forever to heal but you're terrified of running on it for a while

For what it’s worth achilles ruptures/years are usually VERY obvious on physical exam.

If he’s not just coach speaking it, it might really just be a soft tissue injury.

In happier or at least more amusing news NFL people are noticing that Deuce Vaughn looks like someone put an 8 year old on a field with NFL players.

I think the huge training camp helmets don't help him out here any, but there's only so much help to be done when you're that little but can still ball.
