Collapses are slow until they're fast, so it's hard to say. I don't expect a Goodwill Gesture™ all that soon either, but I think it'll look normal-ish right up until the break.

Russia fighting Ukraine just means that two capitalist countries are fighting, the only result that matters is whichever results in the US looking weak and bad. It's why they want to end the war, but only as long as Russia gets everything it wants and the US looks weak. It's not that Russia is better than anyone else, it's just not the US. Ukraine must negotiate away its land and its sovereignty, since it will make the US look bad.
