Paid off the rest of my student loans. I qualified for reduced monthly income but it pushed my overall end date of payment up 8 years.. and added about $3,000 in interest. I have been trying to save up what I can and this was the month that I could finally get the rest of it paid down. Bidenomics hard at work and that should reduce the overall inflation down to a -% you're all welcome.

I'm incredibly fortunate that I was able to save a bit these past years and I can get this "debt weight" off my chest. My loans were small in comparison to many people, so I consider myself very fortunate, and hope that a lot of people will get some relief with the poo poo "plan" that was given to loan holders after the supreme court decision.

It was bizarre seeing this stuff on tiktok. I watched some Professional Watch Seller one time so I kept getting his videos in my feed. It was just constant arguments with customers about how their $32,000 watch had the wrong color second hand or something. "I know I said I'd pay 42k but with taxes and fees this watch is 45k so why wouldn't I just step up to the (whatever bullshit edition) at 51k?" They have to hire armored cars to transport any of their watches in the $100,000+ range.
