That reminded me of M Night Shamalayan's Split, which ended up being a backdoor sequel to Unbreakable with Bruce Willis randomly popping up as an post-credit stinger. Unfortunately it led to the mess that was Glass.

Honestly I'm most interested/concerned by the movies they apparently have in the pipeline for UNO, Viewmaster and Magic 8-Ball. At least Polly Pocket and American Girl have characters associated with them, how do you make a tie-in movie about a fake billiard ball you shake and it tells your fortune?
