buffalo all day posted:going to see Barbie Friday night then Oppenheimer on 70mm (non imax) Saturday morning…hype as hell. Bought the Oppenheimer tickets Monday night for a Saturday 10am show and the theater was already 3/4 full update: both movies were good, and worth seeing. Wish I had seen Opp in standard imax as I don’t think regular theaters know how to show film prints anymore - my 70mm print had giant lovely looking lines down the middle of the screen for the entire 3 hrs. Speaks to how good the movie was that I forgot about it for long stretches of time. Barbie was just funny as hell.

2001: a space odyssey. Looks incredibly good streaming on max via my OLED. Better looking than a lot of movies from the Last 10 years. Had never seen it before but thoroughly enjoyed it. What a flex making the first 3 minutes completely black and forcing me to check that my computer was working.

Watched 65, that movie with adam driver and a kid and dinosaurs. It's got good effects, but is also goofy as hell and the script is nothing. You could replace every one of his lines in the movie with "now what?" and nothing would change lol I give it 1  out of 5
