The issue I'm having with ROH lately is the disparity between TV & PPV. You can tell that everyone at the TV tapings came to see AEW live, and ROH is just a bonus if you feel like staying to watch Expensive Dark. ROH PPVs meanwhile are kickass supercards specifically for ROH crowds. Like everyone should be losing their poo poo whenever Shibata's music hits, but if they're not there to see him or the show he's on - or they're tired after the AEW live show - there's barely a reaction. I'm not sure what the solution is - maybe they could tape ROH earlier in the day with limited tickets sold separately from Collision tickets, and change the setup in between shows? I still think they should book a smaller armory or college basketball venue in the same towns as the AEW arenas, but it doesn't seem like that's in the cards.

If they were to tour an ROH-only show, would they actually get significant enough demand to get the audience they want? (and pay for touring) Like, they got 3000 for Death Before Dishonor, but how many would they get for just "ROH on HonorClub Episode 37"?

ROH isn't going to draw or be practical as a stand alone weekly entity. It's expensive to break down and set up everything, doing it once a week at an armory is going to be a money loser. You could probably do a 1,500 seat venue every month for tapings, but Tony wants 90-120 minute episodes so that isn't going to work. So your only two options are Orlando for bulk tapings or weekly on the road.

Solid if unspectacular episode, Athena was great as always and I'm intrigued by what they're doing with her and Diamante. Likewise, interesting that they're teasing a shakeup for Josh Woods, his pairing with Nese hasn't really gone anywhere and he could use a new direction.
