I have recommended this self-edit in the past to friends who have not seen the show and they appreciated it. Sort of like how there are DS9 compilations where they just remove all the stupidass filler episodes about baseball and poo poo.

Speakeasy is running a promotion for the month of November where each referral gets you $50 instead of $25 and each new customer gets 2 months of free service. We both win!

*November 8th through December 8th*, we're doubling the service credits
on all residential and business broadband referrals to $50 for each
residential referral and $100 for each business referral. Plus, as a
bonus, *refer 10 customers* November 8th through December 8th and we'll
give you a *$500 bonus* -- just in time for the holidays!

BTW speakeasy is the best ISP in the world. They are a little more expensive but their tech support alone is worth it. Plus they have the most open TOS of any ISP I know of. They are the best, I've been with them for over 2 years and never had a major outage of more than a couple of hours and that was only once. They have lots of difference packages some come with subscriptions to fileshack or sourceforge, upto 8 static IPs and other cool stuff.

I currently have onelink which is DSL without a dialtone (ie no phone bill). I get 4mb down and 768k up with 8 static IPs with rdns to my domain name and fileshack.

So share the love. Start a chain and make $50 plus two months of free service.

Only new customers can post their referral.
If you already have a speakeasy account wait till the next deal comes along and start a thread then.

Pauzible_cs posted:

Addressing some of the queries raised in the thread earlier on Pauzible
1. Third parties can own a share of homeowner equity without affecting their mortgage contracts. The concept of home equity sharing agreement has been in existence in the US since 2004 across multiple providers.

2. It is not a home equity loan or a HELOC, in fact it is not debt. A home equity loan or HELOC requires you to pay interest and principal back. Whereas at Pauzible, homeowners who have sufficient equity in their home would be able to tap into this home equity without taking on additional debt - by letting Pauzible invest in the equity in their homes in return for receiving funds.
Pauzible would receive a return on their investment in the owner's home only at the time the homeowner sells, or refinances or buys their equity share out anytime within a 10 year window or immediately after.
If the value of their home appreciates, Pauzible would be sharing in that gain. If not, Pauzible would make less, or even lose money.

3. The objective of the lien on the property is to make sure that Pauzible's rights in the home equity sharing agreement are protected and that owners are not able to sell or refinance the property without Pauzible being notified and Pauzible's share being realized.

Hope this clarifies.

It would strike us with as much energy in a tenth of a second as the planet has received from the Sun in the entire span of time since dinosaurs walked the Earth.

It doesn’t need that much time though. It would boil the oceans and melt the entire rocky mass of Earth in less than ten microseonds.
