I'm also going to snag an D that I've been planning on taking for a while. 26 years old, on an incredible deal for I think 3 or 4 more years at $4.4m AAV. Really grew into a great defensive defenseman who can transition the puck out quick and he will make a perfect partner for Jaccob Slavin as a shutdown pair, allowing me to play one of Fox or Slavin for most of the game. Connor(WPG)-Matthews(TOR)-Wilson(WSH) McCann(SEA)-Pettersson(VAN)-Zuccarello(NYR) Theodore(ANA)-Bouchard(EDM) Sergachev(TBL)-Letang(PIT) Georgiev (COL) Varlamov (NYI) ...did you know that Varlamov has been the 8th most valuable goalie over the last four years? Probably could be a starter for a lot of teams. Georgiev hopefully broke out out last year after a strong first three years and weak years 4-5. Some of that is probably Colorado ~magic~, but I already took a Minnesota guy so I can't get Filip Gustavsson, who was a top 5 goalie (#10 over the last 4 years) according to the nerds.
